The move of the New York Knicks will probably not affect Slovenians

Sugar Mizzy June 30, 2022

New York Knicks goal Jalen Brunson was an effective second player in addition to Luke Doncic, as the Dallas Mavericks scored a solid set in the playoffs last season.

The 25-year-old defender averaged 21.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in the playoffs. His exploits led to interest in him throughout the league in the trading market.

The New York Knicks replaced Alec Burks and Nerlens Noel in the Detroit Pistons, along with two future second-round picks; to make room for Jalen Brunson. The Knicks also added six million dollars in cash, but did not take any players in return.

While Brunson has proven to be a reliable partner for the Slovenian, there is agreement that Luka Dončić will be fine.

“Luka is similar to LeBron in that he is a system. A player who can create his own punch can be disappointed when he plays with LeBron or Luka. I’m not surprised that Brunson’s camp commented. Luka is independently excellent, regardless of the guy. like Brunson. ” – @Chris_Broussard

Doncic has been compared to LeBron James since the beginning of his NBA career, in terms of the way he handles attack. Chris Broussard of “First Things First” used this to build his case, as he said:

“Luka is offensively similar to LeBron in that he dominates, he is a system. Everyone has to give it up. “

Broussard was all praise for Doncic, but he sympathized with Jalen Brunson when he said:

“A player who can create his own punch and create his own attack; they can get frustrated if they play with LeBron or Luka because they create everything. “

The New York Knicks are expected to offer Jalen Brunson a four-year contract worth $ 110 million when the free agency opens on Thursday. @ChrisBHaynes

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Jalen Brunson can expect a four-year offer of $ 110 million from the New York Knicks. The Mavericks would like to keep Brunson’s improved services, but Broussard believes this is not a complication, and says:

“I think it would be good if the Mavs kept him, I’m sure they would like to keep him. But this does not affect Luka in any way. “

From Brunson’s perspective, it’s probably the right time to cash in on his pay rise. Perhaps we could also offer him a bigger role if he moved, which could help him grow as an actor.

The Mavericks are candidates for the title despite losing to Brunson against the New York Knicks

Jalen Brunson has proven to be an effective player in the Mavericks ’attack, but his loss isn’t supposed to leave much of a dent. The expected return of Tim Hardaway Jr. has impressed Mark Cuban and the Mavericks with the upcoming season.

The Mavericks brought in Christian Wood from the Houston Rockets almost a week ago, reinforcing their presence in color.

Broussard went on to point out the changes for the Mavericks after the expected exchange with the New York Knicks, as he said:

“Luka won’t be affected at all. Tim Hardaway Jr. is back, who is a better scorer by three points.

“They got Christian Wood, I like this store. 18 and 10, fifth stretch, three shots better than Jalen Brunson. So, Wildes, I don’t think that’s going to affect Luke. Luka is great on his own, regardless of a guy like Jalen Brunson. “

The Dallas Mavericks are likely to come out stronger next season, and Christian Wood’s replacement has certainly strengthened their lineup. The New York Knicks, however, have a long summer ahead of them.
