Portugal with 23 athletes at the World Athletics Championships
Portugal will be the Portuguese July 24th.
Pichardo, Olympic triple jump champion, and Patrícia Mamona, silver not triple jumper in Tokyo, are the most famous names, in a list that also includes Auriol Dongmo, holder of the best mark of the year in the shot put.
Portugal has 21 medals in World Athletics, six gold, seven silver and nine bronze.

male:
– 1,500 meters: Isaac Nader.
– Shot put: Tsanko Arnaudov.
– Triple jump: Pedro Pablo Pichardo and Tiago Pereira.
– Javelin Throw: Leandro Ramos.
– 35 km march: João Vieira and Rui Coelho.
female:
– 100 meters: Lorene Bazolo.
– 200 meters: Lorene Bazolo.
– 400 meters: Cátia Azevedo.
– 400 meters hurdles: Vera Barbosa.
– 1,500 meters: Marta Pen.
– 5,000 meters: Mariana Machado.
– Jump in greeting: Evelise Veiga.
