It doesn’t happen every day! On Wednesday June 29, 2022, at the end of the afternoon, the firefighters of Haute-Garonne intervened to rescue a horse silted up in a pond at Rouffiac-Tolosannear Toulouse.

Contacted by Toulouse newsthe departmental fire and rescue operational center (Codis 31) indicates that 20 firefighters centers in Rouffiac-Tolosan, Ramonville Buchens, Colomiers, Montgiscard and Aussonne were mobilized.
The 34-year-old horse, trapped in the mud, was able to be extracted thanks to specific lifting straps for animals with large size and a tractor made available by the town hall of Rouffiac-Tolosan.
Once out of danger, the animal was checked by a private veterinarian. A new check is scheduled for Thursday, June 30.
