The Government approved, in today’s meeting, at the proposal of the Ministry of Public Works Development and Administration, the negotiation and signing, to Romania, of cross-border investment financing programs between Romania and Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and the Black Sea neighboring countries, informs Agerpres.
In the period 2021-2027, the three programs will fund cooperation projects in the fields of government such as emergencies, education, health, innovation, research, nature protection, climate change, risk prevention, culture, tourism, safety, security and welfare. announced a press release to MDLPA.
The budget of the Romania-Ukraine program is 54,050,004 euros, and the investments can be made in the counties of Satu Mare, Maramureş, Suceava, Botoşani, Tulcea and the oblasts of Zakarpatia, Chernivtsi, Odessa and Ivano-Frankivsk.
The Romania-Republic of Moldova program has a budget of 77,298,439 euros, the eligible area including the counties of Botosani, Iasi, Vaslui, Galati and the entire Moldovan territory, said MDLPA.
The total budget of the Interreg VI-B NEXT Black Sea Basin Program 2021-2027 is 72,275,137 euros, the eligible area including Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Romania (SE region), Turkey and Ukraine.
In the period 2021-2027, Romania participated in the three programs, the role of Managing Authority, Joint Secretariat and Audit Authority, mentioned the quoted source.
