The PSD organizes a conference-debate on the energy future of San Marino
“Global warming, the extremeization of thermal phenomena, the rise in the prices of energy resources and the ‘sword of Damocles’ of war, all this places even more at the center of attention the need for an energy strategy that keeps account of both environmental and economic sustainability “.
The Party of Socialists and Democratsexplaining in a note that the aforementioned dynamics “must be regulated on a global level, but every contribution counts and no one must be dispensed at a subjective level or even local institutions”.
Therefore the PSD organizes a conference-debate on the initiatives in the field for environmental sustainability at a collective and individual level with an in-depth analysis of system choices, such as those of San Marino on the supply of non-renewable resources, the possibilities outside the territory from renewable production plants, those of Rimini and Emilia Romagna Region in terms of energy saving and proposals for energy sharing and large renewable plants.
The conference-debate, scheduled Monday 4 July at 9 pm in the Montelupo Room in Domagnano (Republic of San Marino)will be introduced by its secretary Gerardo Giovagnoli, with the presence of the Secretary of State for Labor, Teodoro Lonfernini, the Councilor for Technological Transition of the Municipality of Rimini, Anna Montini, and Leonardo Setti, professor of Renewable Energy and Biofuels at the University of Bologna and scientific director of the project, funded by the Emilia Romagna Region, for the development of local solar communities.
