RB Salzburg cancels training camp due to bad weather – football

Bad news for FC Red Bull Salzburg!
The Bulls need to reschedule their preparation for the upcoming season. Due to the bad weather forecast, the series champion is leaving the training camp and returning to Salzburg on Wednesday.
Already on Tuesday the test field against Legia Warsaw fell victim to heavy rain. And because the weather forecast for the coming days in Bramberg am Wildkogel is not positive either, this decision was made.
The other training sessions planned for this week will be completed at the Taxham training centre. Sports director Christoph Freund explains this decision: “Those responsible in Bramberg worked out in an exemplary manner and tried everything, but in the end the weather didn’t cooperate. However, we need every single training session for the best possible preparation for the new, intense season, we will continue to work there and also catch up on the friendly against Legia Warsaw.”
This test match against Legia Warsaw will take place on Wednesday. The match against the Polish first division team will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the Red Bull Academy in Liefering without spectators.
