Pour the 4^e concert of the 2022 season Musical Causse of Gramatthe symphony formation Out of Toulouse will be on friday 1^uh July at 9 p.m. at Saint-Pierre Church.

Friday 1^uh July, the Musicales du Causse programmed the “OUT” orchestra from Toulouse instead of the American ensemble Blue Lake, which canceled its European tour. The “OUT” orchestra of Toulouse is a symphonic formation bringing together several amateur musicians of all ages and from various backgrounds. It will be composed in Gramat of about fifty musicians.

This concert will allow the public to appreciate the sounds of the different families of instruments. The wind instruments will perform the Serenade op. 7 by Richard Strauss, a youthful play with a romantic and rather bucolic atmosphere. They will be placed for the occasion under the baton of François Gheusi, assistant conductor. Then the strings play the Simple Symphony by Benjamin Britten, also composed when Britten was barely twenty years old, which gives the work a youthful freshness. All the musicians will finally come together for a “hit” from the great classico-romantic repertoire, the Beethoven’s Seventh Symphonywith in particular his famous and poignant “allegretto”.

This concert, at an exceptional price, will take place at 9 p.m. in the Saint-Pierre church.
