Doha, Qatar, June 29, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Corinthia Hotels and United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari public shareholding company and prime contractor for The Pearl and Gewan, have signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Monaco Marina Management (M3) and the Yacht Club of monaco to develop boating in their Yacht Club located on the island of La Perle. The new club has strengthened The Pearl’s position as an international destination for boating and yachting.
The agreement signed by Simon NaudiCEO of Corinthia Hotels and Ibrahim Jassim Al-Othmanpresident, CEO and member of the board of directors of UDC, as well as by Mr. Bernard d’Alessandri, general secretary of the Yacht Club of monacoand Mr. Jos Marco CaselliniCEO of Monaco Marina Management.
As part of this agreement, M3 will support Corinthia Group and UDC to promote and develop the sailing and yachting experiences and services offered at Corinthia Yacht Club. This collaboration also makes it possible to obtain the label La Belle Classe Destinations, a prestigious label awarded by the Yacht Club of monaco which sets a standard of excellence for the quality of facilities, services and safety in superyacht marinas.

The Corinthia Yacht Club is currently under construction in the heart of Porto Arabia Marina and is expected to open ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
