Börse Express – Salzburg Regionality Prize 2022 awarded
For the 13th time, RegionalMedien Salzburg chose regional initiatives and projects that help to make the province of Salzburg particularly worth living in.
Salzburg (OTS) – On June 28, 2022, RegionalMedien Salzburg awarded the Salzburg Regionality Prize in the Kavalierhaus Klessheim to people who are particularly committed to the region with their projects and initiatives. The ORF Salzburg and Raiffeisen Salzburg have been partners of the award ceremony for many years.
Michael Kretz, Managing Director of RegionalMedien Salzburg GmbH, welcomed the guests and campaign partners:
“Each one of us can contribute something to the quality of life in our environment. The commitment comes from the companies, clubs or other initiatives and gives strength to the whole country. The people behind it are the foundation of the regions, we want to honor them with our regionality award.”
120 projects from the entire province of Salzburg were submitted. An independent expert jury then chose the winners in twelve categories and this year also decided to carry a jury prize.
High-ranking representatives from politics and business attended the event, including Governor Wilfried Haslauer, who emphasized:
“Regionality is key! The last two years in particular have shown us how important quality from the region is. The RegionalMedien Salzburg Regionality Prize brings the best ideas to the front of the curtain and at the same time serves as a multiplier for the future. The state of Salzburg therefore supports this initiative with the utmost conviction.”
There was great excitement when Julia Hettegger, Editor-in-Chief of RegionalMedien Salzburg and moderator, determined this year’s winners.
