WHITESNAKE – Coverdale sick, the dates in Milan and Vienna are skipped
After the cancellation of Europe announced yesterday, the news came – of the cancellation of the show as well WHITE SNAKE – via a press release on their page Facebook – due to severe sinusitis of David Coverdale.
The official press release from the Italian promoter is awaited Vertigo.
This is the singer’s statement:
“Dear Whitesnake fan,
we went around the world earlier this year on the Farewell Tour giving it all to you, the fans. The rigors of the road are always the same for all of us, and we have tried to stay healthy. together, in recent times we have been affected by a couple of situations that we have tried to solve in the best possible way. First, our dear Reb Beach has had to miss a few concerts (but he’s doing much better now). Then the rock of the band, the legendary Tommy Aldridge, got sick and we had to cancel the performance at the Rock Imperium Festival in Cartagena (we apologize very much to our Spanish fans). Tommy was sick enough to have to miss his first gig since he’s been in the band. The good news is that he’s fine and he can’t wait to get back to playing for all of you.
I continue, I too have been impressed. I started feeling sick a couple of days ago and they diagnosed me with a nasal and windpipe infection. Doctors recommended 5 days without singing and bed rest. Unfortunately, this meaning is not playing the Milan Vienna concerts, and for that of Zagreb we will make a decision shortly.
I am very sorry for all the fans who had planned to come and see us on the Farewell Tour in these cities. My intention is to recover as soon as possible for the missing concerts on our European tour. You are in our hearts!
