Two official departures suddenly at the ASM

AS Monaco Mercato: Pietro Pellegri stays permanently at Torino FC
Not fitting into AS Monaco’s plans, Pietro Pellegri (21) had been loaned, with an option to buy, to AC Milan (August 2021 to January 2022), then to Torino FC (January to May 2022), the same last season. Returning to the Principality after his loan, the young striker will not play for ASM next season. He was the subject of a dry transfer to the Turin club. The Italian international (1 selection) has signed a three-year contract with Taurus. “AS Monaco informs of the definitive transfer of Pietro Pellegri, the Italian striker, to Torino FC, recent 10th in Serie A. AS Monaco wishes him every success for the rest of his career”, wrote the club from Le Rocher in his press release. In four years of contract, Pietro Pellegri has played only 23 games in the Monegasque jersey, without convincing.
Strahinja Pavlović transferred to RB Salzburg
Another young player has left the Principality. This is Strahinja Pavlovic (21 years old). His transfer to RB Salzburg was formalized on Tuesday. “AS Monaco informs of the transfer of the Serbian international (20 selections, 1 but), to RB Salzburg, recent Austrian champion. AS Monaco wishes him good luck in this new stage of his career.”, a statement from the princely club. The transfer would have been concluded at 7 M€, according to Transfermarkt. Like Pietro Pellegri, Strahinja Pavlovic spent the last season at two clubs and two leagues, in the form of a loan. First at FC Bruges in Belgium during the first half of the season, then at FC Basel in Switzerland, during the second half of the 2021-2022 financial year. The central defender has played only 12 games in the Asemists jersey in 2 and a half years.
