There are challenges, but I want to keep the deadline: the Dóczy Hall will be built in the center of Debrecen – with photos, visuals, video
The new gymnasium of the Dóczy Gymnasium of the Reformed College of Debrecen has been under construction for almost half a year. The school does not currently have a suitable gym, but this facility will meet modern educational requirements. Continuous supply of materials is a current challenge, but the contractor is expected to prepare for the next spring deadline.
The specialists are constantly working, one third of the work is done by the contractor, and the Dóczy High School, maintained by the Trans-Tisza Reformed Diocese, currently has only a small gym, which does not provide adequate educational conditions, so the new hall is being built.
The walls of the building are slowly emerging, the internal height of the hall will be 8 meters. No stands will be built next to the future 20 times 40-meter playing field, so its cover and equipment will make it suitable for almost all ball games.
The facility will have, among other things, changing rooms, water blocks, showers, a medical room and a curtain.
The construction is taking place along Klaipeda Street. Construction is hampered by the congestion of the work area and the need to handle freight traffic without obstructing downtown traffic. a continuous supply of materials is the biggest challenge, but it can meet the deadline, said the technical inspector of the construction.
– There are some materials that only arrive with a turnaround of several weeks, but we will try to replace it with something else. The contractors are thinking in advance and have already ordered materials that will only be needed for the finishing work, said Attila Vári, the architect of the Trans-Tisza Reformed Diocese.
The hall is planned to be completed from more than 1.2 billion forints next spring.
