The students put on a nice show
The schoolchildren’s end-of-year show took place on Friday, June 24, at the cultural center due to the risk of thunderstorms. The theme was sustainable development. Thus, the kindergarten class took the public on an extraordinary journey by flying over our little planet, by Philip Richard. Then, the GS-CP performed a famous song by Steve Waring. The EC followed with a reggae that said to “sorting the waste in the bins is important”. The CMs have chosen Children of the Earth by Jean-Francois Nicolai.
After the songs, the pupils of the nursery class fluttered about like bees in the sun, wearing a headband made up of two antennae with a yellow pompom at the end.
Then the GS-CPs danced to Mrs Nature of Aldebert, the EC have been struggling on the English music group Jamiroquai. Finally, the CMs evolved, in magnificent very cosmopolitan costumes, to a song by Christophe Maé This is my land. In the final, all the students gathered on stage to sing Change the world by Priscilla Betti and finally hope “change the world, change the main things in the main!”
On this occasion, the mayor, Pascal Peyrière, and two municipal councillors, Julie Rouquet and Sandrine Girard, distributed a calculator to the ten CMs starting in 6th grade. These students also received a collection of fables by La Fontaine donated by National Education.
