The football transfer window: Monaco signs Minamino, Ekitike far from PSG
Alphonse Areola leaves PSG for West Ham (official)
It was expected, it’s official. Trained at PSG, Alphonse Areole is transferred to West Ham, where he was loaned last season. Aged 29, the tricolor international goalkeeper played 17 matches with the Hammers in 2021-22, including 10 in the Europa League. Under the colors of Paris, he played 106 matches. The transfer fee hasn’t been confirmed but it would turn €9m according to some sources. Areola was loaned to Lens, Bastia and Villarreal before winning in the Paris goals between 2016 and 2019. The world champion, however, never played with a real number 1 status, he who had to deal with the contest of Kevin Trapp at first, then Giuanluigi Buffon. He went on loan to Real Madrid in 2019, when Keylor Navas had taken the opposite route, before joining Fulham, then West Ham.

Wahbi Khazri in Montpellier to take up “a new challenge” (official)
There was no longer any doubt, it is now signed. After four seasons and 37 goals in 114 matches under the colors of Saint-Etienne, Wahbi Khazri commits this Monday in favor of Montpellier. The duration of the contract has not been specified for the 31-year-old Tunisian international, who arrives at La Mosson free. “It was a priority for us to strengthen our attack.
