San Marino. The help of Charity Without Borders continues for Ukrainian refugees and displaced persons

“Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine continues and the needs of so many people who have lost everything persist: loved ones, home, work, school, security, in short, everything that is normal daily life for adults and children”.

To report it a press release fromCharity Without Borders Association, whose commitment “has continued in recent months and, thanks to the collaboration of our fellow citizens and the work of volunteers, our largest load of aid for the: over 20 tons of food, hygiene products, diapers, clothing, medical aids (wheelchairs, beds, walkers) and, thanks to the San Marino Red Cross, drugs and medication materials. In addition to this, a large amount of paint, donated by the Colorificio Sammarinese, which was requested of us because it is useful for the buildings that house war refugees or the poor and orphans.
All this will be delivered to the Community of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Assisi in Husi, Romania, who immediately went out of their way to help by hosting many mothers with their children who fled the war and who, together with their community in Moldova, give help to refugees and support for Ukrainian soldiers, who return exhausted and hungry from their missions.
We hope that this mad and absurd war can end as soon as possible and, finally, it is understood that peace is the greatest value that man can desire “.
