The second edition of “Un Monte di Libri” kicks off in San Marino on 1 July
Starting from 1 July, on a weekly basis, following an itinerary that will touch all the castles of the Republic of San Marino, the 34 volunteer readers will continue their work to promote reading, especially towards children up to 6/7 years. of age and their families.
This year, know ago in a note there Playroom Pologiocothe summer meetings, except for the first appointment which will be held from 18.30, will take place in the evening, or starting at 20.30, as the final moment of the day.
The cycle will begin and end with two events for families in which the “Compagnia le pu-pazze” and the multi-instrumentalist Giacomo De Paoli will present themselves with animated stories and sound stories, shows made possible thanks to the collaboration of the City of San Marino council and of the Acquaviva council.
“Enjoyable and fun or deep and thoughtful, the book is the best way we have to explore worlds and live a thousand different lives. Reading, in fact, not only allows you to acquire new knowledge but helps to better understand yourself and the world around us: this is why we believe it is important to encourage the love of reading from a young age. Children and their companions are invited to participate in the rediscovery of the book object under the guidance of the readers with the suitcase who have once again embraced the cause with enthusiasm ”, declares the Ludoteca Pologioco.
In addition, there is “the possibility to borrow books, suitable for this age group to which the project of ‘Read aloud’ it is aimed at the library of the Dogana Social Center: here is the ‘children’s center’ which has specially created the titles section in the network of Romagna and San Marino Libraries ”.
