Tourism in Prague is reviving significantly
The director of CzechTourism, Jan Herget, assumes that the agency will receive around five guests from abroad this year, so it offers about twice as much. However, according to him, tourists from Asia and Russia will probably still be missing. According to Herget, they used to make up almost 20 percent of the guests and belonged to the clientele that spent considerably in the country.
In connection with the return of tourists, the question is again on the table how to balance their number so that it is in line with the lives of residents in the center of Prague.
“We focus on informing visitors, we try to behave respectfully and with respect for the city and the local. The Enjoy Respect Prague campaign also includes useful advice and tips on extremely interesting places without crowds or where to go for good food, ”says Hana Třeštíková, Councilor for Culture and Tourism.
