Ambassador to NATO: Lithuania will have reinforced allied forces

Decisions to strengthen the Alliance’s defense on the eastern flank should also be taken at the forthcoming NATO summit in Madrid. Tadas and Lithuania will have more NATO capabilities, both military and armed, military equipment and ammunition. It is true, as Deividas Matulionis, the Lithuanian ambassador to NATO, says, that at least part of the additional forces will be deployed to the allied Germans who are commanding the NATO counter-forces in Lithuania.
