LITHUANIA, 25 June – On behalf of the Government and citizens of Lithuania, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė greets Slovenia on the occasion of National Day.
“I very much appreciate the friendship and close cooperation between our countries in the EU, NATO and other international organizations, and your country’s contribution to a strengthened NATO presence in the Baltic States. I have no doubt that our countries will continue to cooperate in strengthening our cooperation and our friendship, “said Prime Minister Šimonytė in a greeting message to Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of continued unity in supporting Ukraine and strengthening sanctions against Russia and Belarus to achieve sustainable peace and a Europe that is strong and insensitive to blackmailing aggressors.
On the occasion of National Day, the Prime Minister wished the Slovenian nation prosperity and well-being.
