The Czechs will build another luxury holiday resort in Croatia
Twenty-four premium apartments, swimming pools and a beach bar stand by domestic developers on the Croatian island of Pag. The investment is expected to climb to five million euros.
The project, called Mandré, is one of many that the Brno developer Domoplan is planning in the Balkans. It should be completed within 18 months.
“Croatia is a very popular destination for the Czechs. It is a stable country that has been developing steadily for decades and will continue to do so. In recent years, the infrastructure, the quality of services as well as apartments and hotels have developed a lot, ”explains Michal Augustýn, the manager of the Croatian division of Domoplan based in Zagreb, just to Croatia.

Up to eight thousand rental apartments could be built within ten years on urban land with an area of more than 600 thousand square meters. The construction is initiated by the municipal contributory organization Prague Development Company (PDS). Domoplan is not the only domestic developer who is heading to the Balkans with its projects. UDI Group also has billions in investments in Belgrade. Demand is there for both apartments in ownership and so-called corporate apartments, which are used for rent.
