And if you take advantage of the summer to treat yourself to a gourmet getaway ? the terroir of the North – Pas de Calais inspire many cooks and the starred restaurants not missing. Here are the 11 establishments consecrated by the famous Michelin Guide.
The starred tables of the North
The Table * (Hotel Clarance, Lille) : Passed by Paris, New York and Norway, the chef Thibaut Gamba met all his personality in the service of his surprising dishes.
The Cherry Tree * (Lille) : the former chef at Le Meurin, Mathieu Boutroy, delivered perfectly executed dishes that gave pride of place to seasonal products.
Le Marcq * (Marcq-en-Baroeul) : on his plates, chef Abdelkader Belfatmi shows a well-established culinary identity.
Nature * (Armentieres) : the cuisine of chef Nicolas Gautier combines harmony of flavors and authenticity with a beautiful presentation of seasonal regional products.
Val d’Auge*, (Bondues) : in a red brick house, chef Christophe Hagnerelle produces precise and inventive seasonal cuisine.
The Auberge du Vert Mont*, (Boeschepe) : the haunt of Florent Ladeyn, a chef committed to (very) local cuisine, showcases his beloved terroir in all his dishes.
High Table Happiness*, (Cassel) : in the heart of Flanders, in a pretty 18th century residence, Eugène Hobraiche concocts cuisine in tune with the times.

La Grenouillère ** (La Madelaine-sous-Montreuil) : only restaurant with two stars in the Hauts-de-France region where Alexandre Gauthier offers his exceptional cuisine.
The Pavilion * (Le Touquet – Paris-Plage) : William Elliott’s creative cuisine offers wonderful combinations of land and sea.
Beaulieu Castle * (Busnes) : Marc Meurin’s playground has a new chef: Christophe Dufossé, a former Michelin star in Metz. The chef focuses his cuisine on plants.
The Liègeoise * (Wimereux) : on the seafront, chef Benjamin Delpierre is fond of fish from the Côte d’Opale which he showcases beautifully.
