Negotiations between Olympique Lyonnais and Feyenoord progressed rapidly this Saturday, to the point that Fabrizio Romano announced a full agreement for the transfer of Tyrell Malacia to OL.
This Saturday morning, Olympique Lyonnais had let it be known, in Le Progrès, that there was still no agreement with the Dutch club where Tyrell Malacia plays. But obviously everything has changed in the last few hours. The Italian transfer window specialist indicates that the agreement is now total between Jean-Michel Aulas and his Dutch colleagues concerning the arrival of the 22-year-old international defender. Tyrell Malacia, who had already agreed with OL, will quickly join Peter Bosz’s squad, the left-back having to sign a contract which will make him a Lyon player until 2027. To achieve this transfer both expected, the Lyon president would have agreed to pay 15 million euros to Feyenoord, for a player who was also coveted by Manchester United. In order to replace Malacia, Dutch officials are thinking of Chelsea defender Ian Maatsen.
Deal concluded for Tyrell Malacia to join OL, as revealed yesterday. Full deal between the clubs for €15m fee, permanent deal from Feyenoord. Five-year agreement concluded with Malacia. Here we are. 🚨🔴🔵 #OL
