AC Milan return to the charge for Ziyech
AC Milan are reportedly back in negotiations for Chelsea attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech. The 29-year-old Morocco international has been linked with a move to San Siro on several occasions but this time AC Milan are now confident they will achieve their goal.
Indeed, the former Ajax player wanted to reduce his stay in London, because his agent would have contacted AC Milan regarding a possible transfer. His contract runs until June 2025 but Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Ziyech has now submitted a transfer request and is eager to move on after two seasons at Stamford Bridge. However, the English club would prefer a loan deal with an option to buy rather than a permanent deal this summer. Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, however, Ziyech’s Chelsea salary of over £5m per season is said to be causing concern. The Moroccan international has scored eight goals and provided six assists in 44 competitive games for Chelsea this season.
