Wacker Innsbruck: President Kevi Radi’s resignation is approaching
FC Wacker Innsbruck does not want to start its rocky path back into professional football in the fourth domestic performance level (All information >>>) and objected to the Tyrolean Football Association’s protest against the decision of the Presidency.
The sporting future is therefore still uncertain, and there is also tremendous rumbling at management level. On Tuesday evening, the members’ evening of the former second division club took place at Tivoli. Also present: President Kevin Radi.
The 34-year-old had to listen to a lot at the general meeting. “Highly emotional over long stretches”, exactly the “Crown” the evening. At which Radi got a “foretaste” of the General Assembly next Wednesday.
Many questions remained unanswered
At the end of the event, very few questions were answered. Especially not how things will continue with Radi itself, the board and the core member “BlockRock GmbH”, which the Wacker President leads together with shareholder Bernhard Dornauer.
It remains open whether the company will withdraw of its own accord if the statements promised for months by investor Thomas Kienle do not arrive by next Wednesday. According to the association’s statutes, Radi would still have 1,500 votes by the time of the next ordinary general assembly.
Does Radi pull the rip cord himself?
However, the “Krone” writes that it is very unlikely to see Radi in office until December/January. The pressure from the members is increasing, his resignation is said to be getting closer. At the meeting on Wednesday he could pull the ripcord himself.
“In our situation, you can’t rule out anything,” admits the 34-year-old, “because every day that goes by without the money coming, it’s getting heavier.”
