TRIER will launch its community scooter distribution service in Siófok, the second Hungarian city after Budapest, on Saturday, the Berlin-based micromobility company said in a statement sent to MTI on Friday.

The protection of the environment is of paramount importance for the management of Siófok, which is why they started cooperating with TIER, which provides a service that offers an environmentally friendly transport alternative, the announcement indicated in the statement.
The Sióf rental scooters for wide, large steerable wheels on a narrow street can be easily and safely. To use the service, you can find the nearest scooter on the map available through the company’s mobile application, activated by scanning the QR code on the steering wheel – they explained.
TRIER launched its e-scooter service in September 2021 in Budapest. A spokesman for the company told MTI that more than 350,000 rentals had been made in the capital over the past nearly a year.
At present, a thousand e-rollers are available to the people of Budapest, although the fleet has been temporarily reduced, but will be expanded again soon, he added.
The possibility of expanding their service area to newer cities is constantly being explored, he said.
