Summer vacation is coming early for Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. The twin princes of Monaco will now be free from Friday July 1, 2022, after class, but their parents have done them a favor! They took them with them to Norway this week for an official trip that should be very informative!

They arrived in Oslo on June 22 in a very good atmosphere. Charlene and Albert of Monaco have shown themselves to be very close, having been separated for several months in 2021, due to the state of health of the princess. After several months spent in South Africa, she was also admitted to a specialized clinic in Switzerland to recharge her batteries. Now back in the Principality, Charlene is once again the top mom she has always been for her little ones!

As a family, they understood the exhibition Sail the sea of science, scientist and explorer. Prince Albert I and the first Norwegian explorations of Svalbard at the Fram Museum, this Wednesday. Earlier in the day, Jacques and Gabriella had their free time, while their parents were received by King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway for lunch at their private residence in Bygdø Kongsgaard.
And the kids won’t miss out on activity on this trip. This Thursday, June 23, their dad is still expected in Longyearbyen to unveil a bronze bust of Prince Albert I, which is offered to the Norwegian Polar Institute. As the great-great-grandson of the man nicknamed “ Prince Navigator »Albert II paid homage to him during his entire stay in Norway.
On the road to history
He also introduces his children to the many Arctic expeditions of his grandfather, helped by Norwegian explorers. In the rest of the program, Albert will therefore take his family on a cruise, on Captain Charcot. They will leave from Longyearbyen up to 80 degrees north, to follow the route once taken by Albert 1er.
