Roberto Cammarata in Vienna as peace ambassador for the city of Brescia
The president of the city council Roberto Cammarata he is engaged, as an ambassador of peace for the city of Brescia, on a trip that took him to Vienna and, from today (Wednesday 22 June), to the Balkans, to participate in two initiatives.
The intervention of the president
Yesterday, Tuesday 21 June, as part of the first conference of States parties to the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, the president spoke at the event “Voices of civil society for a world free of nuclear weapons” organized by Mayors for Peace Ican, which was attended by local authorities from all over the world.

In addition to Cammarata, for Italy, the former president of the Chamber of Deputies was present Laura Boldrini. The route then restarts from Sarajevo, where Cammarata will participate in the first study trip on the Balkan route of the Brescia public administrators, meeting institutions and civil society, talking with them, with the aim of deepening the phenomenon of migration along this route, but also of bring the solidarity of the Brescia institutions and associations.
