Italy, Belgium and Croatia want to face Algeria
A few months before the start of the World Cup, the selections are already trying to prepare for this deadline and preparation matches are starting to be scheduled. If this year the holding of the League of Nations and the World Cup in the middle of the season does not really help to organize itself, certain selections hope to have time to play friendlies in November. This is particularly the case of Belgium and Croatia who would like to challenge Algeria.
The two teams qualified for the World Cup and in the same group will face Morocco during this World Cup. And to prepare for this meeting, Belgium and Croatia therefore targeted Algeria, another Maghreb country but which failed to qualify, to organize a friendly match just before the start of the competition. It was coach Djamel Belmadi who revealed it at the microphone of the FAF-TV. “In agreement with the clubs, there will be a possibility of playing one or two friendlies next November. Like Italy for example, which is not going to compete in the World Cup. We had a request from the Italians not so long ago. There are also Sweden, Croatia and Belgium, which have lately abruptly.
