“A large container in the receiving area was on fire,” said spokesman Tobias Slabon. The container burned down completely. Because the rear area of the area has no vents to the rear, all of the smoke spread to the street side of the multi-storey car park. According to Slabon, no one was injured.

At the same time, the fire was over relatively quickly. Most of the forces withdrew again at around 8.35 a.m. As a precaution, the fire brigade brought the garbage compactor, which is right next to the container stand, outside. But it didn’t have to be deleted. In addition, the car park was properly ventilated. The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
