Prague – A concert by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden is taking place today at the Sinobo Stadium in Prague (formerly Eden Arena). This is a translated performance as part of the Legacy of the Beast World Tour 2022. The tour began in 2019 and resulted in a live recording of Nights of the Dead, Legacy of the Beast: Live in New Mexico, but was discontinued due to anti-pandemic measures. .
In Prague, a group called the Iron Maiden was to play after a medieval torture instrument last June 15. Instead of the canceled concert, an autobiography of their singer Bruce Dickinson was published in the Czech translation. So far, they have released 17 studio records. Dickinson’s first recording with Iron Maiden was The Number of the Beast in 1982. In 1993, the band’s singer devoted himself to his own work for several years, but returned in the late 1990s.
Iron Maiden are a frequent guest in the Czech Republic, Dickinson christened the Arakain record in 1996 in Prague. The last time they performed in the metropolis was four years ago at the airport in Letňany. They played at the Eden football stadium in Prague in 2016, when approximately 28,000 fans did not miss it.
