Season 22/23: This is the summer timetable of 1. FC Köln – BUNDESLIGA
Six friendlies, including the cracker with the Italian champions!
1. FC Köln will start preparing for the new season on June 27th. The billy goats were able to secure 7th place last season and are therefore represented in the Uefa Conference League. Who does FC have to face in preparation? And who did Steffen Baumgart’s (50) team start against in the Bundesliga?
The tryouts
- Am 01 July faces the first friendly match TuS Mondorf on, kick-off is at 6 p.m
- Two days later it’s time for the people of Cologne training camp to Donaueschingen. From the 03 to 10 July intensive training takes place here and the foundations for the coming season are laid
- Two friendlies are scheduled during the training camp: Am 08 July the ball rolls against Austria Lustenau at 6 p.m. in Singen, one day later FC am July 9th in Bad Dürrheim against the GC ZurichKick-off is at 3 p.m
- Am 16th of July Then the bang: 1. FC Köln welcomes the reigning Italian champions to the RheinEnergieStadion AC MilanKick-off is at 7 p.m
- Versus Kickers Offenbach play the Cologne am 17th JulyGame starts at 3:30 p.m
- The Cologne team have to play the last test match of the preparation on 22nd of July against the Dutch first division team NEC Nijmegen graduate The party takes place behind closed doors.

What’s next for the people of Cologne?
Am July 23 the official season opening takes place, where players and coaches present themselves to the fans, all on the stadium grounds of the RheinEnergieStadion.
The first competitive game will take place on 30th July instead, when FC Köln for the first time DFB cup round at Jan Regensburg is a guest. The game starts at 3:30 p.m. in the Jahnstadion in Regensburg.
The billy goats welcome returning Schalke 04 at the start of the Bundesliga. On Saturday, August 6th, the opening game against the Knappen started at 3:30 p.m. in the RheinEnergieStadion.
