WINCKRANGE – Spreading over 42,000 m2, “this is the largest construction site currently underway in Luxembourg”. Led by the Félix Giorgetti group, GRIDX must shine beyond the Greater Region.
Spread over 42,000 m2, “it is the largest construction site currently underway in Luxembourg”, proclaims Marc Giorgetti, director of the construction company Félix Giorgetti, promoter of the site. Already, from the A4 in the direction of Esch, at the height of the Pontpierre exit, the building impresses. This is also the case from the inside, where the GRIDX project was presented on Thursday.
It comes in three universes. First the automobile and mobility, with a universe inspired by the German “Motorworld” concept, and “a 360° vision”, according to Félix Giorgetti, head of development and representative of the 4th generation of the family group. Sale of vehicles – modern or classic, Losch is particularly expected with Porsche Classic and Bentley – technical inspection, car wash, rental, repair…
200 million euros invested
All services will be present. A partnership with the National Museum of Turin for exhibitions of exceptional vehicles is also announced, and bicycles and motorcycles will not be forgotten either. For the entertainment component, the public will find around twenty catering outlets, a fitness centre, e-sports simulators, a digital art museum and even event spaces.
As for the shops, “the products will have to be unique in Luxembourg, we will not be a shopping center”. And on the business side, a 4-star hotel with 140 rooms, a congress center and 10,000 m2 of offices will complete the offer. Some 200 million euros of investment have been committed by the Félix Giorgetti group, which must make the site profitable with the rental of all its spaces. Out of 140 tenants expected, the occupancy rate already exceeds more than 50%. Opening scheduled for the end of 2024.
