Day of Lower Saxony 2022 – discover Hanover …
10th to 12th June 2022 from the Maschsee to the town hall
The state celebrates its culture, history and diversity with the “Lower Saxony Day”. Every two years there is a celebration in a different city. This year, the people of Lower Saxony are celebrating the three-day cultural festival under the motto “Stadt.Land.Fest” around the Maschsee, the Maschpark and the new town hall in the state capital Hanover.
Above all, the clubs, associations, the artists and especially the committed people give the “Day of Lower Saxony” a special and regionally shaped face. At the festival, the participants present the cultural diversity of the country and present it to a large audience. The event is intended to be a meeting place for locals and guests from all parts of the world.
Over 400,000 visitors are expected. Around 250 exhibitors present their work on nine theme miles, seven stages provide entertainment and information. There will also be a costume and festival parade called “Diversity Parade” with 80 groups from all over Lower Saxony.
