Bachelor party triggers police and rescue operations
The dangerous carelessness of several revelers in Frankfurt’s city center on Saturday (June 4th) called the water police into action.
Frankfurt – A bachelor party has in Frankfurt triggered a police and rescue operation on Saturday afternoon (June 4th). The officials said that several participants jumped from the Eiserner Steg into the Main at around 1:20 p.m. Attentive passers-by then alerted the local water police.
The so-called bridge jumping is forbidden and “very dangerous”, also due to the continuous shipping on the Main, the Frankfurt police made it clear. That’s why there was an immediate rescue operation. Fortunately, none of the celebrants were injured.
