Mercato: Denayer’s replacement unearthed in Belgium?
Zapping But! Soccer club OL – NEWS BUT! : Yilmaz or Malacia to replace Emerson?
According to the Belgian media Walfoot, OL would be eyeing the Cameroonian international Michael Ngadeu to compensate for the free departure of Jason Denayer and another possible in the same position, that of Jérôme Boateng. At 31, Ngadeu is only a year away from the end of his contract with La Gantoise (Belgian D1) and had already been mentioned on the shelves of Les Gones a few months ago.
A different profile for Denayer’s successor
Holder in Gent since his arrival in 2019 from Slavia Prague, the 1m90 defender has played 49 matches in all competitions this season. In Lyon, he could find Karl Toko-Ekambi, his teammate in the Cameroonian selection, with whom he reached the semi-finals of the CAN this winter. While most rumors have so far turned to Issa Diop, the study of a more experienced profile has managed to contain Castello Lukeba in central defense.
Major works begin near Lyon.
