Several demonstrations by caregivers this Tuesday in Lyon
Working conditions in public hospitals are increasingly restrictive.
In any case, this is the opinion of the EST union (Ensemble, un Syndicat sur le Terrain) which is organizing a demonstration this Tuesday in front of the Edouard-Herriot hospital in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon.
A rally is planned at 2:40 p.m. Place d’Arsonval to denounce “reorganizations dating from 2010“which led to a gradual decrease in numbers until they became”insufficient“.
“We, caregivers at the Edouard-Herriot hospital, like all the caregivers at the Hospices Civiles de Lyon, and like all the caregivers in the country, can no longer hold on.“, continues the union in a press release.
The objective of this event: to increase the number of staff and generalize the bonuses to all caregivers. The functioning of the hospital should not be too disrupted.
Another gathering is planned at 2 p.m. rue du Lac, in front of the headquarters of the Métropole de Lyon in the 3rd arrondissement. This time it is the CGT, SUD and CNT unions which are calling on workers in the health, social and medico-social sectors to demonstrate. They must claim a bonus of 183 euros, job creation and the improvement of their working conditions.
The procession will therefore set off from the Part-Dieu district to reach Place Guichard.
