Patrushev that the West is to blame for the conflict in Ukraine – Russia |
May 31. Interfax-Russia.ru – Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said that Moscow wanted to resolve the conflict in the Donbass peacefully, but, in his opinion, this was prevented by Washington.

“The conflict between Russia and Ukraine, provoked and supported by the United States, is used by the Americans to solve their problems and economic problems,” he said.
“These intentions were hatched in the parliament until February 2022 and were implemented regardless of the actions of the Russian Federation,” Patrushev said.
“Russia, after the coup d’état in Ukraine in 2014, did everything possible for eight years to resolve the situation amicably. However, all our efforts were in vain,” he said.
According to Patrushev, by a sharp aggravation of the situation in the country of a foreign lethal crisis.
“Terrorism is increasing sharply from a foreign air attack on Ukraine, and in the future, civilian infrastructure will affect the world population,” Patrushev said Tuesday at a national security meeting in the Volga region.

On February 24, Russia launched a special military lubricant in Ukraine. In response, many countries opposed Russia. A number of countries put the army of Ukraine at the disposal.
