RB Leipzig will offer Salzburg
Two Salzburgers as substitutes for Laimer and Mukiele
According to a report by Kicker (Monday), two offers are being prepared for the most reliable negotiating partner in the club’s history: for midfielder Nicolas Seiwald and right-back Rasmus Kristensen. The Dane is 24 years old, has now spent three years in Austria and scored seven goals in 29 games last season, while also providing four more assists. His market is worth 15 million euros, but his contract runs until 2025, so it would not be cheap.
Seiwald comes from a small community in Salzburger Land, has played for Red Bull since he was young and has now become a regular in defensive midfield. Its market value has increased from 3 to 17 million euros over the last year. He does not have an exit clause and has committed himself to the Austrians until 2024.
After five years in Leipzig, Konrad Laimer has not yet responded to an offer from Leipzig for an extension, the same applies to Nordi Mukiele. However, both contracts expire next summer, which could also lead to a separation.
Also Junior Adamu on the list at RB Leipzig?
But that’s not all the rumors about Leipzig and Salzburg: While Borussia Dortmund has been awarded the contract for Karim Adeyemi, who will replace Haaland, according to a report the Daily Mail both English clubs and RB Leipzig on Junior Adamu’s commitment. The 20-year-old striker has played 30 league games for Salzburg and scored seven goals. He completed his entire training at the Salzburg Academy and was last loaned out to FC St. Gallen for the second half of the season last year. Born in Nigeria, the right-footed player also plays for Austria U21. Interested parties are said to include Leipzig, West Ham United, Southampton FC, Hertha BSC and Ajax Amsterdam. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 6 million euros, but the Daily Mail assumes around 14 million euros, which Salzburg is demanding.
