Drugovich resists Pourchaire in the streets of Monaco
There will be no double for Théo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) in the streets of Monaco, one after his victory in the Main Race. Part in 2e position, the Habs never found the opening on Felipe Drugovich (MP Motorsport) who signs a 3e success in the last 4 courses, the 4e of the year already.
However, Théo Pourchaire was oppressive in the rear view mirrors of Felipe Drugovich during a good part of the race. If he was patient during the first stint on soft tyres, the Grassois took advantage of the switch to super soft to come back into contact with the Brazilian, who is more on the same rubber.
Good flight from Théo Pourchaire who immediately blocks Doohan to keep his 2nd place! 👏#MonacoGP 🇲🇨 #F2

But in Monaco it is not enough to be faster than the driver in front of you to be able to consider overtaking. In the streets of the Principality, you have to try everything to try to get the best of your rival. Back in the exhausts of the South American in the last 15 laps, Théo Pourchaire was able to be threatening for all that to crack his opponent.

Much faster than his counterpart, the Sauber Academy protege ultimately did not tempt fate, preferring to secure a 2e place and 18 points in the championship at the risk of losing big and seeing Felipe Drugovich take off at the top of the standings. It is therefore in the same positions as at the start that we found the two men at the finish. Jüri Vips (GP Hitech), 4e on the grid, completed the podium after passing Jack Doohan (Virtuosi) during the pit stop game.
In the championship, Felipe Drugovich increases his lead over Théo Pourchaire thanks to this 4e victory of the season, the 3e in Main Course. The MP Motorsport driver intends to be 32 points ahead of his ART Grand Prix counterpart.
