Youth publishing phenomenon launched in Portugal on Monday
The book “Skandar e o Robo do Unicórnio”, by AF Steadman, goes on sale in Portuguese bookstores this Monday, a work that has hit successive sales records in the countries where it has already been published.
Launched this month in England and the United States of America, with direct entry into the sales charts, “Skandar e Robo do Unicórnio”, by AF Steadman, is the book of the moment in the children’s segment.
With movie rights already sold, the book has been translated into 48 languages, the most ever for a book by a debut author in children’s literature.
The Portuguese edition, with the seal of Nuvem de Letras, hits bookstores this Monday and represents one of the biggest bets of the year for Penguin Random House Portugal.
The historical boy centers on Skandar Smith, one who always wanted to be a unicorn knight.
At the end of 1 year, he undergoes the exam and turns out to be extraordinary, who is so powerful that he completes an animal. However, when his dream is coming true, events can be a rumor far more dangerous than he could have imagined, when a powerful enemy of the Island. With his friends, Skandar has to find the thief and restore order.
