On Friday night, border guards did not release Petro Poroshenko outside the country on the Ukrainian-Polish border. This was announced by his party “European Solidarity”.

The party notes that Poroshenko is part of the Ukrainian delegation, participates in meetings of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and the decision was agreed with the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada.

“European Solidarity” has published video recordingin which EU MP Oleh Syniutka explains that Poroshenko is currently working to give Ukraine EU candidate status, NATO membership and weapons.

“These Ukrainian border guards are not allowed. They have been instructed by the highest echelons of power not to let Poroshenko out of the country. Not to allow Poroshenko to negotiate with NATO countries. Not to allow Poroshenko to do everything members of the EU “, – says Sinyutka.

Later the colleague of the ex-president Irina Gerashchenko reported in Facebookwho had a conversation with the speaker of the Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk and said that the document that allowed Poroshenko to go abroad, allegedly damaged.

According to her, the speakers who actually signed two orders on Poroshenko’s business trip abroad have no other versions of the document.

“The document issued by the Verkhovna Rada chairman is really unreadable. So, it was damaged by someone … The actions of the authorities are completely illegal. And we will not allow them to build an autocracy under the guise of war,” Gerashchenko said.

The State Border Guard Service has not yet commented on the incident.

Medvedchuk’s testimony against Poroshenko

On May 23, the SBU released a video in which detained businessman and politician Viktor Medvedchuk reported forgeries in cases involving the decommissioning of an oil pipeline and the purchase of coal from the self-proclaimed DPR-LPR. He testified against Petro Poroshenko.

Poroshenko’s defense speaks of political pressure.

In April, the SBU detained Medvedchuk after escaping from house arrest at the start of a full-scale Russian invasion.

He is accused of the state council, aiding terrorism and attempting to plunder national resources in Crimea.

Another accusation is the illegal seizure of Prykarpatzakhidtrans LLC by a section of the state oil pipeline worth over UAH 200 million.

In the SBU video, Medvedchuk described the essence of the schemes and detailed the role of Petro Poroshenko in it.

According to Medvedchuk, who was shown by the Security Service of Ukraine, President Poroshenko should not only have addressed him with a breach of ties with the Russian leadership, but also with a secured decision in all Ukrainian instances.

Poroshenko is summoned to state affairs and to promote the activities of terrorist organizations in the period 2014-2015, during the supply of coal from the territory of “DPR-LPR”.

Poroshenko and his defense have repeatedly called the case political and challenged the precautionary measure.

He was also challenged by the prosecution, which wanted a more severe measure against Poroshenko.

In February the appellate court upheld a precautionary measure against Poroshenko’s Kyiv commitment. In January, the court ordered the politician to deposit with the relevant public authorities for travel abroad.

In May, the migration service refused to report Ukrainian Newswhether Poroshenko’s foreign passports were returned.
