In Amsterdam, a fire was reported on the Nieuwe Laan on Saturday evening. The fire brigade has scaled up to medium fire. It is still unknown what the cause of the brand is.
The fire broke out around 12:30 pm. 2 minutes later it was scaled up to ‘medium fire’. The brand can be brought under control with, among other things, tankautospray. An ambulance has also been dispatched to the incident.
Amsterdam falls under the P2000 region of Amsterdam-Amstelland. The emergency services in this place, in the province of North Holland, respond, among other things, to 112 reports received by the security region. The 112 reports are sent via P2000 to, for example, the correct fire brigade.
