BOLA – Sporting beats Famalicão and wins the Portuguese Cup (Women’s Football)

Sporting beat Famalicão (2-1), in the final of the Portuguese Cup. It was the second trophy for the lionesses this season, joining the Supercup won against Benfica (2-0).

Joana Marchão (30′) started by putting Sporting in the lead, with Chandra Davidson (62′) extending the lead in the second half. When everything seemed to come, and Fernanda Batista (82′) wasted a penalty for Famalicão, a goal from Carolina Rocha (89′) came and didn’t put any emotion, but the score changed more at the end.
