Wooded back: the racket sports brand born in Toulouse
A couple of young people from Toulouse launched a racket sports brand on May 16. T-shirt, cap, socks and sweatshirt: Revers Boisé is already experiencing stock shortages.
A tennis enthusiast and an expert in digital communication. Alex and Alix, two 26-year-olds from Toulouse, are the founders of the Revers Boisé brand. Launched on May 16, they have already seen stock shortages on their website. “Seeing people we don’t know, wearing our clothes, that’s what really makes me happy,” comments Alex.
A nod to tennis
He started to play tennis, at 4 years old then intrigued by this sport which he had noticed in the complex of Carcassonne. “I’ve never stopped,” smiles the entrepreneur. It’s this passion that led him to found Revers Boisé with Alix. The name is a nod to the old wooden rackets used at the time. The expression is also always used to designate a player who hits the ball with the frame of the racket. The young couple, now based in Toulouse, started with an idea: to represent this passion through a brand. “At first, we wanted to do this on the side, an additional project. And we quickly got caught up in the game and ended up spending all our time on it. »
Little by little, the brand becomes concrete. They imagine clothes designed in an ecological way, suitable for tennis lessons as well as outside, for amateurs and professionals alike. “We first put 250 pieces on the site”, describes Alex. But new objectives already adapted to the head of the couple. They dream of sponsoring professionals and trying their hand at events. But if they imagine even further, they hope, one day, to create the Revers Boisé racket sports complex.
