Toulouse: she tries to leave a hypermarket with 1600 € of purchase
The security team of a Toulouse hypermarket intercepted a swollen customer on Thursday afternoon. She left the store with €1600 of unpaid lessons.
From a pocket of sweets to bottles of grand cru classé wine, including lipsticks, fashionable sweaters and other razor blades, department store surveillance teams know that “customers” sometimes take liberties guilty with checkout.
But late Thursday afternoon, the supervisors of the Auchan hypermarket, Gramont district in Toulouse, surprised a somewhat special case. A 25-year-old young woman took advantage of Ascension Thursday to do her lessons. She started by picking up two gym bags from the store and she took a long tour of the shelves. She chose food, makeup, shampoo and other skincare creams before checking out without paying anything.
The guards had identified her and did not let her go. When they added his “market”, the bill reached €1,600! The client had nothing to pay the “small” bill. She was assigned to a police patrol and taken into custody at the central police station. She went there again this Friday, May 27.
