the renewal for badges is staggered into three phases
A renewal in three brackets for the ZTL, ZCS and disabled permits. This is what the city council of Florence has established by approving a resolution by the councilor for mobility Stefano Giorgetti. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the validity of the marks has been several times extended to such an extent that to date the passes expired in 2020 can be used. With the end of the state of emergency, however, the automatic extension ceases and therefore a large number of permits will have to be renewed at the same time. To avoid an excessive concentration of practices, it was therefore decided to suspend a three-step deadline based on the license.
In detail, the renewal of the ZTL, ZCS and disabled permits valid for more than three months extended for the Covid-19 emergency, is staggered into three phases based on the expiration date. So for badges, the whole of 2020 remains fixed as the deadline for validity and renewal on 29 June 2022 and still valid within the following 2 months.
Permits with expiry dates in 2021 will be valid until 30 September 2022 and will be renewed within the next 2 months.
Finally, the badges with expiry dates until March 31, 2022 will be valid until December 31, 2022 and until they are renewed within the following months.
