The 95th Anniversary Gala of Radio Krakow – Leszek Długosz honored with the Of the Bobrowska Roma

Leszek Długosz – actor, writers, composer, pianist, singing poet, legendary artist of Piwnica pod Baranami, columnist, columnist and… radio host.

“He was born in Zaklików in 1941, welcome on a Subcarpathian day.” He graduated from high school here, and wrote his first poems and songs here. In 1959, he passed my secondary school-leaving examination and went to study in Krakow. In 1964 he graduated from Polish philology at the Jagiellonian University. In the years 1964-1966 he also studied at the Acting Department of the PWST in Krakow. He made his debut in 1964 in the student cabaret at the Jagiellonian University, i.e. the Song Theater Hephaestus. A year later, it established itself with the Piwnica pod Baranami in Krakow, which was achieved by successive institutions that were associated with the most recognizable artists. From 1978, after parting with the cabaret, singing and composer performances, more volumes of poetry. With his own recitals also in Poland, abroad, incl. in Austria, France, Canada, West Germany, Sweden, USA, Italy. He publishes his columns in the national press and collaborates with television. In 2007, an absolute election with elections, PiS to the senate but not in the mandate.

A separate chapter in Leszek Długosz’s biography is his cooperation with the radio, primarily with the radio station in Krakow. The first recordings for Radio Krakow in the 1960s related to the program were from the program developed with Piwnica pod Baranami. In the 1990s, the artist was a frequent guest of the regular Piwnica program, which was published until 1998 under the editorship of Jolanta Drużyńska. At that time, he also started working with the Krakow radio. The artist’s original cycles were created: “According to my piano” and “Literature according to Leszek Długosz”. In 2007, today, and broadcast with a few breaks until the break Fri. “Pleasures of Sunday.”

From the 1980s, Leszek Długosz also collaborated with the radio director Romana Bobrowska. In its development, poetry and music programs with music and texts by Długosz were created: “My Silver-Headed Collies”, “Album – Everywhere”, “Arek” a radio play with the Krakow poet “Roses of memory and chochoły”, as well as poetic radio plays based on his poems: “Niechby who is leaning “or” Po po poolach “with people on the roses, actors by Anna Polona and Jerzy Radziwiłowicz. The selection of Długosz’s poem in his interpellation was also published in 1997 in the album “Głos poetów” directed by Romana Bobrowska and a musician.

In 2013, Leszek Długosz published his memories of the legendary Krakow cabaret entitled “Pod Baranami. Ten Happy Times …” Expanding the edition of the book with the subtitle “scenes and pictures from” cellar life “in Krakow in the 1960s and 1970s” are published only years later.

The artist is at his own. prize accounts, distinguished min. in 2006 he was awarded the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis and in 2021 he was awarded the Order of the White Eagle by President Andrzej Duda

The Radio Award of Romana Bobrowska, commemorating the figure and work of the great radio director, author of many radio dramas, has been awarded by Radio Kraków since 2011. It goes to the recipes of your actors received from people and your own station. Over the years, it was awarded to: Anna Polony, Andrzej Seweryn, Krzysztof Globisz, Jerzy Stuhr, Anna Dymna, Jerzy Trela, Dorota Segda, Jacek Romanowski, Ewa Lipska and Józef Opalski.

Occasional jubilees designed by the visual artist Jakubynarowski, awarded with diploma diplomas:

Mr. prof. dr hab. Andrzej Szczerski, director of the National Museum in Krakow – for many years of cooperation, co-creation of cyclical broadcasts of Radio Kraków, sharing knowledge with listeners of new radio stations and for the creation of Radio Kraków Kultura.

Mrs. Izabela Błaszczyk, former director of the Krakow Festival Office, realized by the company Krakow 5020 – for many years of cooperation with Radio Krakow, Joint projects of the Krakow Festival Office and Radio Krakow, incl. at the Conrad Festival, the Misteria Paschalia Festival and the Krakow Art Salon, sharing shared expert knowledge and in radio debates.

It had a special overtone a distinction awarded to the KERMESZ editorial office, which was performed by Grzegorz Suchanicz, Julia Onyszkanycz, Olga Pyrz and Ihor Wasyluk. The program has been broadcast on our air in Ukrainian for 20 years. During the visit, the influx of thousands of thousands who did not become a showcase became a beacon for information and an example of honor for them. The KERMESZ editorial team was honored for the promotion of Lemko and Ukrainian culture and history in Małopolska, and for providing media support to war refugees from Ukraine.

In shares in, among others, state authorities, the National Broadcasting Council, authorities of Kraków and Małopolskie, heads of Kraków and Małopolska culture of culture, rectors of Kraków authorities and regional authorities of radio stations. In the artistic part, the awards gala featured a concert by Capella Cracoviensis.
