San Marino. Athletes, managers and coach of the Special Sports Federation received by the Sports Secretary
This morning the delegation of Special Olympics San Marino athletes reduces from the profitable participation in the Invitational Games was received this morning by the Secretary of State for Work and Sport Teodoro Lonfernini.

The delegation that participated in the Games by invitation in Malta, which took place from 13 to 18 May, was made up of 17 people: 12 athletes, 3 coaches (Manuel Sciutti, Vladimiro Selva, Susy Serra), 2 volunteers and the Head of Delegation, the Vice-President of the San Marino Sport Federation Special Bruno Muccioli.
The white-blue participation in the sporting event – the first important after the long stop caused by the pandemic – ended with a full of medals: in bowling, Nicola Frassini And Samuele Baldacci they respectively won a gold and a bronze in the single and a gold together in the double. In football, the boys finished fifth out of 23 participating nations. In swimming, Omar Santini won a gold in the 50 freestyle and one in the 25 backstroke, Melissa Mancini a gold in the 50 freestyle and a bronze in the 25 backstroke, Elia Gasperoni a silver in the 25 back.
