The way is now clear for West Ham to sign Ajorque after the president speaks
The way would now be clear for West Ham United to sign Strasbourg striker Ludovic Ajorque during the summer transfer window.
Ligue 1 side chairman Marc Keller admitted he would be open to selling the 6ft 6in hitman, when he spoke to Latest News from Alsaceif a “big offer” came in for his services.

Hammers manager David Moyes is desperate to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
According to FootMercatoStrasbourg striker Ludovic Ajorque is a transfer target this summer for the East London side.
West Ham need to bring more quality competition for Michail Antonio in order to get the most out of the 32-year-old next season.
And it looks like Moyes now has a chance to sign one striker in particular…
West Ham could sign Ajorque
The President of Strasbourg, Marc Keller, spoke exclusively to Latest News from Alsace and suggested the 28-year-old striker could be sold if the right offer arrives this summer:
“We are very happy with him as a player and as a person. He has always behaved in an exemplary manner. But after all this time, he may be wondering if he needs a new challenge. “We hope to keep him. But if he wants to leave and if a big offer is made, we will talk about it. If they (our key players) have to leave, they will be replaced. It’s part of the life of a club.
Ajorque would be a decent addition for West Ham in my opinion.
Standing at 6ft 6in tall, he would be an obvious threat from set pieces and could act as a great focal point for our attacking play.
The Frenchman has also registered 12 goals and eight assists in 36 Ligue 1 games for Strasbourg this season, so he’s clearly quite good in front of goal (transfer market).
He could be signed for around €15m (£12.5m) according to Get the latest football news from France.
Seems like a decent value to us. Remember, though, that Ajorque are completely untested in the Premier League. We would like David Moyes to sign an elite striker this summer and although the Strasbourg ace is very good, he doesn’t fit into the world-class squad.
West Ham signing Ajorque to complete the signing of a top striker, however, would be a wise move.
