The boxers fought for a good cause. The new organization has raised a quarter of a million to support little František, who suffers from cerebral palsy

Sugar Mizzy May 26, 2022

Last month, a new organization, GREAT by 2J, entered the domestic scene, and its first gala evening, GREAT FIGHT NIGHT 1: František, which took place in the Athletic Hall in Ostrava, was a real success. In addition, the fighters and the organizers together received CZK 250,000 for little František suffering from cerebral palsy. In addition to this great feat, we saw great sports performances and really beautiful battles in Olympic boxing and K1.

The young men opened the whole gala evening Happy AND Vrbicafor whom it was undoubtedly a great experience and motivation for further training efforts. In the next match, the fighters who the day before the match were still fighting for the graduation exams – home Robert Empty and Brno Franko Lalík. In the end, the first person rejoiced in the victory on the body.

He performed with a great performance Daniel Bernold from the Budweiser ring Mark Kellner. And he managed to do it thanks to three knockdowns in the first round of TKO. However, he did not stay in the ring for a long time either Tomas “Beast” Novotnywho also beat the technical KO in the first round Kristián Péczka and clearly demonstrated its enormous power. Wrestle Ant vs. Žádanský stopped in the second round by the doctor for a large incision in the face of the Ant, and quite possibly we can look forward to revenge. Olomouc derby Amoussa vs. Warm offered a beautiful box and especially what was exactly expected, the heart and a huge desire to win on both sides. The representative of Hi-Tech Boxing, led by the newly bred professional champion Polakovič – Kim Amoussa, is returning home happier. The conclusion of the prelims of the card was without debate the biggest war of the evening they unleashed White AND Holec. The fight for every inch of the ring, where the scales weighed from side to side, eventually managed to win over Jakub Holec to his side before the limit, who also received a bonus for the performance of the evening from his partner NED project.

The main card was called by a women’s match Nátalie Poledníkové, which a few days after the gala evening the phone rang with an invitation to the national team training camp in Hungary, where he traveled. However, it is impossible to say that she would go full of strength, because in Ostrava she won a lot with the bronze medalist Kamila Wachal from Poland and in the end she won 2: 1 on points.

European boxing and a very close battle was brought about by the match of the six-time champion and acting vice-champion of the Czech Republic Dominika Glosera against the fresh champion of Silesia from Katowice Hubert Kaczmark. Dominik managed to win in a very close match and after the match he announced a move to a lower weight category and he also became one of the fighters who would like to touch the GREAT belt in the future.

Honza Strakoš before the gala evening he went through hell, which, however, belongs to this sport. His opponent changed three times and eventually his discipline. For K1 bijce, they managed to get the last replacement two days before the gala evening, so he finally introduced himself in classic boxing. In front of the home crowd, he certainly won over the limit and was glad that the whole preparation was not in vain.

The most beautiful and also perhaps one of the wildest matches that Ostrava not only remembers was the battle Hartmann against Gámez. The match was preceded by a lot of word exchanges, both on Media Day, on weighing and on social networks. The hall burst at all as Denis Gámez finally left on the body, returning successfully after sixteen ropes after eight years.

The pet was introduced in the main pre-match Martin “Emptyš” Empty, who announced before the gala evening that he would be the first champion in this new organization. In the first fight, however, he did not have an easy task, because he stood in the opposite corner Pavel Zajíc, a bronze medalist from the Czech Championship, who also recently won the winning professional debut. In a difficult match, Empty finally prevailed his style and started the journey for the title victoriously. We should see Martin again at the next GFN 2 gala evening, again in Ostrava.

In the main match, we witnessed a big comeback. He entered the ring for his possibly last match of his career Marek Vaněček. Former two-time Czech champion, extra league winner and participant in qualification for the Rio Olympics. The vice-champion of the Czech Republic and a participant in the recent European Under-22 Championship stood face to face David Klíč. In the duel, where KO blows flew on both sides, we could watch the captivating spectacle. In the end, the victory remained at home in Ostrava at the end of Marek.

GREAT by 2J will soon announce its next planned gala evenings, which will once again feature top domestic boxers as well as interesting K1 fighters. In addition, the organization also plans to continue to help and raise funds for charity through gala evenings.
